Message from the Executive Director

2019 was a year of growth. The Foundation moved to the house at José Ramón Gutiérrez 269 provided by the Ministry of National Assets (Bienes Nacionales) and opened Línea Libre, a free, specialised remote service for children and adolescents that gave it a presence across the whole country.

The number of people who asked for guidance because they had been victims of sexual abuse in childhood doubled, and the record of each case was professionalised, in a secure and confidential way. The Alianzas para la Confianza matured with one more person on the team.

The next challenge was to consolidate what had been started, without losing quality while growing, and to publish research with the CUIDA Centre of the Universidad Católica. To look after the team during that growth, the Foundation set itself a team code of conduct (manual de convivencia) and weekly whole-team meetings.

Executive Director, 2019: José Andrés Murillo Urrutia.
