Support programme
A first response for people who have been victims of sexual violence
Acompañamiento en Confianza offers guidance to adults who have been victims of sexual violence in childhood, adolescence or adulthood, and to their families and people close to them. You can write to us even if a long time has passed, even if you have not reported it, or even if you are not sure what happened.
Guidance is free. We are available Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 18:00 and on Fridays from 9:00 to 14:00 (Chile time), in Spanish. These channels are not an emergency service: if there is danger now in Chile, call 133.
What it offers
Psychosocial guidance
A conversation with the team to listen to you, give you information and help you decide on next steps, at your own pace. We point you to the support and mental health services available.
Legal guidance
Information on reporting, criminal complaints, time limits and what to expect from the court process, so that you can decide with full information. You do not need to have reported to ask.
Accompanied referral
When you need specialist care, we help you reach the right institution and make sure the referral goes through.
What the support is like
- No conditions to start. We do not ask for a report, a full account or evidence.
- At your own pace. Each person has their own story and timing; the team does not rush you.
- Care with what you share. Before hearing your account, we explain how information is protected and when the law requires us to act to protect someone.
- No further harm. The team works in a trauma-informed way, so you are not made to repeat what you do not want to tell or judged for what you went through.
Age for direct support
The Foundation provides direct support from the age of 18. If the person who needs help is a child or adolescent, we guide their family or a trusted adult and refer them to the appropriate services.
